This 2010 U.S. Geological Survey publication describes the effects of the March 2008 high-flow experiment from Glen Canyon Dam on the abundance, growth, and survival rates of early life stages of rainbow trout in the Lees Ferry reach of the Colorado River. The report also contrasts the 2008 effects with the November 2004 high-flow experiment of similar magnitude and duration, as well as previous years when high flows were not released from the dam.
